Its been a wile thought i would post to say hey.
I feel like my brain fell out and rolled across the floor.
Now it feels like it has a layer of dust and fuzzy shit stuck to it.
What in the hell happened
This blog was created to discuss our Nation, where we came from and the national apathy that is letting big business and our elected officials sell this country and its resources to the highest bidder

Fear and Walls
When I was a kid in school the teacher told us about the great wall of china, the lesson was about isolationism. She said what they built it to protect themselves, later on came to hurt them. It was constructed to protect them from the mongols and the mongols were the terrorists of the day.
She didn’t actually say terrorist that’s the connection I’ve made. They the Chinese however were terrorized The mongol raiding party’s would ride in take whatever they wanted and ride out.
She went on to explain it seemed like a good thing at the time to build a wall to keep them out, No one realized that if you built something to keep the bad out it would also keep the good out.
She said as time went on progress pasted them by.
Then later when I was high school we learned about the Berlin wall. Again were told that it was stupid to try to keep what you perceived as bad out and good in. That it would always come to keeping good out as well. and then after high school On June 12, 1987, President Ronald Reagan gave his "tear down that wall"speech and down came the wall.
OK lets flash forward to today we have a wall a big ass useless wall across the border between America and Mexico. what next the great Canadian/American wall across the northern border.
How did we get here?
What in the hell happened to us?
Does any remember F.D.R.'s “The Only Thing We Have to Fear IsFear Itself” Speech?
Was this stupid dyslexic kid the only one paying attention in class that day?
Doesn’t anyone else see the similarity in whats happening today?
We are destined to repeat our mistakes if we don’t remember our history.
Do we really want someone standing out side our borders in front of our wall giving us a hey you guys are stupid "tear down that wall" speech? cmon aren’t we smarter than that.
I sure as hell thought so but I guess after my education post I shouldn’t expect too much.

Jobs and why we dont have em
Have you noticed lately unemployment level is higher that's ever been, but our politicians aren't even talking about it. All they seem to be doing is pointing fingers and talking about the other guy.
( that's a distraction tactic ) first of all politics aren't a team sport but they treat it like it is. its not a them against us thing its actually a us against us thing and they intentionally turn us on us so they don't have to do anything, in the mean time the whole thing is going to the dogs. Well that's what it seems like on the surface, the fact of the matter we just cant play on a level playing field and they know it so they don't talk about it. If someone actually corners them on it they start talking about Obama care or debit ceiling or gay marriage ( more distractions ) you see they know the only jobs that are coming for us are infrastructure jobs or maybe some green energy jobs and the green jobs are already starting to get outsourced. And the reason that is as long as a factory worker in china makes $155.00 an month and a factory worker in America makes $2372.00 a month we ant gettin our damn jobs back and they know it. so what they want to do is dig us deeper in debit with more money from china start building bridges and roads so that it looks like they're trying and ignore the fact that we cant compete with em.
check out the links below and see for yourself
this is what we want

this what we have to compeet with
http://www.worldsalaries.org/china.shtml
If I'm not seeing this right plz. explain it to me because its terrifying me. and on top of all that, I'm a small business owner and in the past 3 months I've hired three people one wouldn't work one wouldn't show up on time and the other one said he wanted to work but was no show no call at all. and they wounder why all our jobs are going away.

Education
I think Education should be a much bigger concern than it is. These days it seems to me that we have told ourselves so often and for long that we are the greatest in the world. We started believing it and stopped trying. Don’t get me wrong we are great and there is no place that I would rather be.
We have enormous potential for future greatness but only if we open our eyes and look around with without the patriotic bias thats killing us. For instance everybody knows the saying
Everything is bigger and better in Texas. If don’t live in Texas you may disagree, but you cant say that to someone from Texas without a fight.
The same thing goes for America. watch your mouth or someone will try to shut it for you.
Remember the dixie chicks all they said was we should make sure we bomb the right people and they were slammed for supporting tearorism.
Most people think that we are at least in the top five for educating of our citizens everyone wants to believe their children are smart. And they may be smarter than the kids in their class. But we are failing our children as a whole and future generations to come if we don’t open our eyes and look around.
At one time we were at top of the heap I wish that was still true. click this link and see where are now http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0923110.html
The fact is we aren’t even in the top ten anymore and that needs to change before its too late.
If you compare our students in the world classroom we are becoming the special ed kids.
I'm angry our kids aren’t the brightest anymore, I’m angry my neighbors kids don’t see a positive future and I’m angry our politicians aren’t doing anything about it.
They seem to be all waiting around for everything to go horribly wrong so they can say LOOK at what those other guys did you should elect us instead.
The sad fact is they All have a job, they are all getting a paycheck and they don’t care about us.
They only pander to us to get reelected and once elected they dont work for us they work for the lobbyest. Their pay should drop if the average pay drops or unemployment goes up, or if the trade deficit goes up. After all without tax dollars how can we Afford to pay them.
They need some incentive to do a good job ya know no countrymen left behind.
Regulators
If a crook wanted to do away with all the police officers everyone would undoubtedly laugh themselves into a fit. why because its blindingly obvious that if we had no cops you would be robbed blind. If we didn't have any police it would be total anarchy.
But when a politician says we need to do away with regulators like the E.P.A. because its too expensive or that they slow down progress, stand in the way of businesses, jobs and prosperity.
no one thinks for a second that these regulators are white collar cops, they are the ploice officers of big business no one does a thing to stop it.
I happen to think it is money well spent in fact we don't spend enough. And what happens if we have no regulators? Historically well They don't inspect oil wells, there is no one to say hey wait, what happens if something goes wrong down there? Can we even go down that deep to fix it?
And Millions of gallons of oil spew into the gulf, The seafood is contaminated, tourism is destroyed, wetlands are decimated. and that's not all the natural gas industry is allowed to hydro frac in national park lands. Concerns about environmental and human health effects associated with hydraulic fracturing include the contamination of ground water, risks to air quality, the migration of gases and hydraulic fracturing chemicals to the surface, and the potential mishandling of waste.[16] The potential costs associated with possible environmental clean-up processes, loss of land value and human and animal health concerns are proven facts.
A 2010 EPA study "discovered contaminants in drinking water including: arsenic, copper, vanadium, and adamantanes adjacent to drilling and all this is happening on land that was set aside protected as parkland so that all of our children's children will have it to use. as a result chemical company's are allowed to spew toxins into the air and pump chemicals into the ground.
Explain to me how can it be too expensive to have clean air to breath or clean water for our children to swim in and drink. no matter what you gain from it its not as valuable as clean air and water.
I'm no tree hugger but i do think every ones great great grandchildren should be able to go and see a giant redwood, or the grand canyon or Niagara falls.
Its too late where I'm from on the gulf coast no one will ever see the coast like it was as i saw it when i was a child. These days if you go to gulf shores to see the beach you better have a beach side condo. because you cant see the water anymore. No sand dunes no sea oats, that are in fact protected by law. They have all been pushed over to make room for condos. and its a real shame too because there was only a thousand feet of sand if that, between the road and the beach from gulf shores to orange beach. How hard would it have been to treat that small strip of sand like a national treasure for everyone in the world to come and see and use. Everyone should be able to walk down the beach and watch the seagulls fly around to see the little sand crabs scurry up and down the beach and hear the waves crashing, and the sea oats rustling in the wind
I think there should be a law that if a hurricane blows them down they shouldn't be rebuilt.
That land should be restored to its natural state after all it is where the giant sea turtle hatches its eggs.
